The Flying J truck stop exit 7 in Wyoming does not care about the truck driver or the fact that dot shut you down and told you not to move. If you drove you could easily be blown over and maybe killed. They just try to have you towed and impounded. If they did to one truck they can do it to you!!!!

It has been a few years, but I used to stop there regularly and they were great back then.

I've been in their with i80 closed and ir was over flowing and people parked everywhere...the mgrs there were very accommodating with them knowing the situation...like paul Harvey would say...now for the rest of the story...

Your saying a large corporation, the J in Cheyenne, has no concerns for the lowly driver, that may have been parked in a no parking zone (unlawfully parked).
In addition to the questionable parking, more information is required on this DOT shut down. Is this to be understood as being placed OOS for some reason? Did they put the big orange sticker on you?
So the big for profit corporation called a tow unit out to remove your truck from the unlawful parking location. There could be a local fire ordinance or other regulatory reason that particular location was not allowed for parking. Did the Pilot-Fling J corporation have your truck towed? Are you upset and possibly angered by this greedy corporation doing such a dastardly thing.
Maybe next time, don’t park in a restricted location and that won’t happen.

I like what Sapp Bros. Has been doing on occasion of late. Dropping the sand filled K barriers in front and back of the truck, then charging to have them moved.
Notice people don't sit at the fuel island like they used to.

    You fret too much.

You could be easily shot in Chicago or knifed in NYC. Wyoming will just be wyoming. Once you accept it for what it is facing 18 inches tonight, big deal winter is here.

DOT Shut you DOWN for something you did. So it's your problem. Not FJ, not us not anyone.

Just try to have a nice night and look forward to a good feed come the morning. You will need it in this evolving storm.

Life or death? HA. Been there done that. 8 of 9 lives gone. I know what I don;t see coming will be what takes me out in the end. Big deal. Ive had a good run. Not worry about the dying part. We all have to go sometime. So stop worrying about it.
