Team spirit. I took one for the team. The top 10 in each event receive points. The top 3 in each event receive a medal. All points receive go to the team. Other than the medals there are no individual awards.

 

I went in in 68. I never thought about being patriotic, it was just something I had to do as well as a bunch of others. I have absolutely no regrets in doing so. I've said for a long time that when a boy turns 18 he needs to go to the military for 2 years. We wouldn't be seeing this nonsense of running around with a phone in one hand and his mama's tit in the other. But they don't and we do.
