Believe it or not, pissing next to your truck on an off ramp can get you a ticket for public urination. There are plenty of cops with bad attitudes out there that would be more than happy to write you up for it. I also find walking through fresh or dried piss in a parking lot a lot more disgusting than pissing in a bottle, dumping it in some out of the way place, then disposing of the bottle in the trash. There is something about that first rain on a truck stop parking lot after a couple months of dry weather that activates all of the piss on the ground and stinks to high heaven. Plus all of that piss you walk through is now on your shoes, the same shoes you walk in your truck with. No thanks.

I could not possibly urinate into a bottle while driving. Impossible for me.

as long as the urine is emptied onto actual grass or dirt, it will not leave a smell like it does on concrete

What in the world is wrong with you?

I've been working on the interstate alongside contractors and state police and nobody cares or pays attention. Our state troopers would be happy to see a truck driver take a leak behind their door on a ramp than trash up the interstate with their jugs and bags because it's absolutely disgusting out here working on an accident and having to some lazy truckers pee be splashed all over your legs or stepping in somebody's feces. And nobody was talking about a truck stop parking lot. Walk to the bathroom.

To the op, have your doc write you a script for a cathoder (stupid iPad sp?) and the proper bags. You may also need a one way or check valve in the line.

I have a driver using the same type of meds for some other issues and don't want to get into.

Thirteen states public urination is a sex offense.

Pee in jug, pour down drain later.

I agree don't toss full as garbage.

A real plastic milk jug is justcan invitation for a nasty spill of whatever is in it. The thin plastic containers like a gallon milk or water jug that is formed by fusing the two halves together will easily split at that seem.

Better to use a container like Gatorade or Powerade or 1 gallon Hi-C or fruit juice that have a "belly button" on the bottom. Those are formed by blowing air into the plastic as it sits in a mold. Those never leak at the "belly button". They can be found in various sizes from 20 ounce to 1 gallon. They should be emptied in a toilet and then thrown in the trash. Don't be a trashy hobo in a truck. We have enough problems already.

I’m on lasix as well, I don’t pee every hour. I will the first hour after taking it almost to the minute, but after that it’s not a big deal. Plan accordingly. I take mine when I wake up around 4 pm, not before bed. I don’t know what dose your on, but it’s pretty manageable.

    yes..heart failure..

my late dad was on a med (cannot recall the name, it's been years) to reduce the water build up. also, he had to stop driving.

we had to ferry him around town. heart failure meds are not something that a person should be taking and driving a truck, in my opinion. it's called heart failure for a reason. as it is, this is a very stressful job.

this heart failure can also lead to kidney failure, again, i know this, as my dad suffered this from the heart failure.

seriously, the o/p ought NOT to be piloting an 80,000 lbs missile with heart failure.

I'm not on meds but I am 63.
    The world is my urinal.
You don't wanna see me pee than don't look.
It is not like us guys are standing on the step whizzing into passing traffic.
I won't p in a jug either unless I was stopped and then it's just as easy to go around and squirt the dirt.
