Now that's what I'm by God talking about.

 

Growing up my aunt Winnie use to give our dogs (all male) “Salt Peter” when a gip across the way was in heat. Seems there was a time during the 1st & 2nd war that Salt Peter was added to the food..... keeps the guys attention where it needed to be?

 

There are a lot of things I wouldn't want to be called, but I think a coward would be number one on my list.

 

I was in an integrated division during boot camp. All schools I went to, integrated.

When I hit the fleet, the ship took orders to, USS Monterey was just making the transition to taking women on board.

Security unit I was in, same deal. Integrated. Was around it my whole time.

Drama, and lots of it.

 

I only went to Sea for one op with women onboard ( one week ? ) and made them upset by yelling MAKE A HOLE in the ladder well/passageway between the hangar bay and the forward mess decks. #### idiots want to chat and block Grand Central Station. Morons want to talk, move it 30 feet and do that in the 2 acre hangar bay.

 

Couldn’t prove it, but I suspect (based on personal experience) it was still in use as late as 1986

 

They used it on us in BASIC, 1993.

 

Oh well that would be against their “Rights” in this day
