Personally I don't have a clock. Sleep by night or day as needed. Crazy. But on the other hand it's pretty nice. I got 6 hours last night more or less and I probably will fill in the other three by afternoon for tonight.WesternPlains, buddyd157 and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

Last spring the time change screwed up our elds. . . I wonder if they got it fixed?
lovesthedrive, buddyd157 and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
No.
I can tell you from 20+ years of personal experience in the IT field monitoring mainframe, midrange, and Unix / Windows based processing, time change is a complete cluster twice a year, EVERY year. I worked at a lot of different companies over the last two decades and it never ceased to amaze me how the sysadmins would let this thing sneak up on them every year. I worked nights most of the time so I got to see it first hand and in some places the admins would actually have the operations group reset all of the system clocks and then rearrange the batch schedule b/c they were too lazy or embarrassed to get out of bed and do it themselves. It got so bad I'd often try to schedule off on time change weekends!WesternPlains, FlaSwampRat, x1Heavy and 2 others Thank this. -
Catching up on my Smith training this morning. One of the statistics they just threw out is wrecks are up 17% the Monday after daylight saving.

Wow regular people getting heart attacks for a simple 1 hour change??? Sheesh us truck driver spring forward and back all the time jumping time zones. 1 hour is not that big of deal. Some people are so dramatic.
Coffey, tscottme, lovesthedrive and 5 others Thank this. -
Drivers have such irregular sleep habits, it shouldn't be that big of a deal for us. At least it's not for me. I usually take 2-3 days at home before the feeling of jet lag passes after a week or two on the road.

Same here. Wouldn't know what to do to try to sleep nights again.lollovesthedrive, x1Heavy, buddyd157 and 2 others Thank this.
