Interest in an iPhone application for the forum?

We're working on a Log Book and 0/0 expense sheet with mileage calculator for the present Version of TRUCKER 1.1 on the iPhone.
We're going to keep the price at 99 cents and add it to the Drivers Resource Page.
We have a programmer working on it now. The great thing about this programmer is that he's also a veteran OTR trucker.

So many times you try to explain things to a programmer and they just don't totally get it, but we found Mark and he's doing a nice job for us.
We talked to him last week and he said things should be complete in a few weeks.
I'll keep you posted when it's all on there.

 

Just wanted to remind everyone that we can update the Driver Resource Page on the iPHone Trucker with ideas you might have to help drivers. This app was created for drivers, so any ideas to help all of us are always welcome.
Whatever we can't put on V 1.1 will be added to V2.0.

 

How about something for blackberries ?

 

We're seriously thinking about putting it on the Blackberry too. Need to generate some more revenue though first.

 

Nothing personal here, just irks me as everyone seems to do it.

The plural of BlackBerry is BlackBerrys. We aren't talking about fruit .

I heard the attendance at last show in Nevada was down, but we're hoping this one will be better.

How about a truckstop directory? instead of fumbling for that book in the dark?

 

If you click on the opening screen and go to the Drivers Resource Page, click on "Trucker Services". One of the services is a truck stop directory. Just click on it and type either the city name or zip code. It will give you a choice between a 50 and 500 mile radius. The default is set on a 50 mile radius.

There's other information & locators on the "trucker services" too: Truck wash, weigh scale, truck repair,mileage calculator,lowest fuel,weather &traffic, walmart locator, and a few others.

 

thank you... just wish the directory was more iphone friendly ie so the directory was sized accordingly not the zoom in zoom out web page... just hoping...
