It might be the ignorance in me, but I don’t understand why it’s so darn expensive. If it hard to make? I was told it’s just the poor farmers fertilizer. But it is a government required thing so might as well jack that price up.

All they do to make it is hopper trucks bring urea to the plant and blend it with water. 33% urea.

My son in laws did until they bought it back after they got caught....his was an 09, I think had to use the correct grade of motor oil too.

Just another quiet truck tax that makes tires, toothpaste and lumber cost a little more.

I had a new Volvo that would have a hissy fit and stop running when I used pump DEF, but would run on down the road with the boxed stuff. Volvo never resolved that issue.

Yup they bought mine back and I got a VW Passat . My wife wanted a bigger car , Germans design some good cars.

There’s nothing like the smell of fresh DEF in the morning.
