If you are still having problems, try this.
Pull the fuses out one at a time and clean them. One of those fuses may be corroded and the ecm is sensing low voltage.
Once you crank long enough it may sense a high enough voltage to allow it to start.

Thanks for all the advice, the shop that I took it to sadly wasn't able to figure out the problem, so I am taking it back into my own hands. Replacing the SRS and TRS sensors right now. If that doesn't take care of it I will try the fuse thing. Thanks again

hi, mine is a DDEC 4 on an argosy. If you block return it starts perfectly. If not, it struggles to start; have put new check valves on filter and that one behind the head
