Where do I take CDL permit test?

    Im in Ohio. I am confused on whether I need to to go to normal BMV or where they do actual CDL tests for my Class A Commercial Permit testing.

    You have to go to the Driver License Exam Station.

    The same place you took your permit test for your car.

    Just walk in and tell them you want the CDL A tests.

    (General Knowledge, Combination Vehicle, and Air Brake at a minimum.

    Hazmat, Tanker, Passenger, and Doubles if you want them.)

    Same deal, they direct you to a computer terminal and you take the test. Good luck.
