Hello. My dad wanted me to ask this question. He has a 98 classic with 12.7. He had the motor overhauled in dec/jan. Last two weeks the boost is around 12 instead of 28. And the fan is coming on more than usual(getting hot). He changed the boots on the Cac. Didnt help it. Today he is at truckstop in elkton md. Changing the turbo sensor. The turbo was replaced in Sept 2018. Other then it needing a new turbo or new Cac, what else can he check/do himself today. He is under load so.doesnt have time to go to dealership. Thanks

If you have the time to wait, take it to a radiator repair shop. Should be 1/2 price of new to have it repaired & pressure tested.

Try Radiator works, now owned by LKQ, USA and Chinese versions, they were under about $700 and $400, respectively.
