Unless my arms shrunk I think you are right. I could reach the passenger window crank easier, and if necessary activate the old time moto mirror (holding the passenger door open with the right hand to change the angle of the mirror, for you youngins) a lot easier too.

This subject actually came up in the FLC fb group recently. According to them White never owned Freightliner like was commonly thought. Freightliner didn't have a large dealer network and White did. So as James said they had a joint venture. Freightliners sold through White's dealers wore the White Freightliner name plates.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 12 others Thank this.

WTF yall doing? Running around like they don't have good sense? Need to ask the farmer if he ever heard of a grain buggy. From what I can see of the one pick he would a been better to go at an angle up the slope not straight out

I always like the 359,378,379, Kw A,B,L. And FL you could set you thermos on the seat with clipboard whatnot and reach it. If you did that with a later Western Star all you can do is pout about your coffee till your next stop. It took a bus pass to reach the passenger door. 1999/2000 and later.
Dislike was the passenger was too close. As a wrecker driver having a trucker that had not showerd in weeks that close it sucked. Only ever dropped a driver off at plaza once and refused to give him a ride in the wrecker he stunk so bad. And I was the one in the sun cleaning up his wreck. Got a bit of butt chewing on that one. State patrol had to go pick him up.Westbound23, Al. Roper, cke and 13 others Thank this.
