Your hometime should be good tho. I ran chicago, gary, burns, all those places around there. Steel all over that neck of the woods. I would say you would get home on weekends no problem and maybe by the house every now and then.

I used to get home on weekends and make good money. 1 week I even slept at the house twice and still got home that weekend.

Copy that. I would like to go out west and down south too. I never ran any farther west than Iowa with my last company. We would get out to MD on occasion. Other than that mostly all the states that surround IL. The otr division went everywhere but that only consisted of about 9 trucks. I'm sure I have pulled most of the stuff Maverick pulls on a regular basis. Coils, slinky loads, pipe, brick, plate steel, and lots of tractor parts for big yellow. I talked to Maverick a couple months ago and they said they would send me greyhoumd tickets. I told them to hold off cuz I was checking around before I made any kind of commitment to one company. I want to make sure the company I go to I will be there for awhile. Did I hear that all the new trucks are autos and have APU's on them? Never drove a auto before. How difficult is that from a straight 10?

Mav runs out west. Not a lot. Mostly the long haul div. I have went to CO with them, but that is as far as I went.. The auto's are OK once you get used to them. I saw a couple new trucks before I left, but did not notice any apu's.

They do have Jakes don't they? Not something you really need around the midwest but nice to have any how. I would love to get out to CO.

Your welcome! Holler if you need anything. More than glad to help. I am pretty familiar with mav unless any changes popped up in the last few months.

All of the new trucks (Cascadia's) have EPU's.

LOL Hey notarps, by "bells and whistles" were you speaking of the Vorad, or Iteris? That's all I could think of when I read that. I don't know how but my 04 had a glitch in it or something and once I turned the lane departure off the first time it wouldn't come back on. One less thing yelling at me. LOL
