Why does my compressor keeping kicking out?

    Mine was popping of every 25 seconds, changed out filter all is good. Actually bought a whole new unit (aftermarket)for 90.00.

    Tis an ADIS most likely.

    Did you replace governor with Bendix with blue cap non-adjustable? Universal adjustable governors will not function correctly on that dryer. New dryer will come with governor and filter.

    No it's an adjustable. Bought it at Freightliner. And it looks exactly like the one that we took off.

    Mines doing similar, it spits immediately after kicking on, then sometimes a few extra times after it kicks off. It’s toast, filters full, and spitter valves weak. Minor leak also showed up with the Cold weather brings out the Gremlins.5 yrs. , not bad. Time to swap the whole thing out. FleetPride or Freightliner
