grc56 do you have your hazmat
-
Hi all...
I've been trying to get on with Roehl but I haven't been contacted back. But I got a call today from the second company I wanted to go with... Central Refrigerated. I start training on the 27th. I really wanted to go with Roehl for the better training and a little better pay. But I need to do something. I can't afford to go to private trucking school so I can have my choice. So... I gotta do what I gotta do.
-
sorry to hear Yogi ...did you give Roehl a follow up call? ......
tj .... I have hazmat/tankers/doubles/triples and I picked up my TWIC card this week ... getting hyped about finally starting ..... hope I pass the work test .... every muscle in my body is sore from the last minute household move we did ..... good luck to ya .... I'm gonna start a new thread for me experiences/comments regarding my Roehl 'life' .... -
Central is not a bad gig, you will get out of trucking what you put into it. Good luckYogi4 and Dr. Venture Thank this.

The work test is all about heart rate. You said you take blood pressure medicine. If one is a beta blocker you will be fine. They only see if your heart rate goes above your maximum heart rate for your age. Find out what you max rate is and then hit a treadmill hard and test it.grc56_tn Thanks this.

I'm supposed to be natioal van dinvision but if curtainside or refridge is avail I'll see about taking it because I can always do van if no refridge is avail ...... I'll be starting a new thread for my life with Roehl notes/comments ....... thanks to all who have provided help and advice as well as answers questions (many of which may have been redundant) .... catch ya later
