    Do Hotshot Car Haulers need a SCAC? What is it for and where do I go to get one if needed?

    this is the website and I don't think you need one if your a carhauler. Don't let those companies online rip you off by charging you more than it really costs.

    You need a SCAC code to do business with the government for sure. Amazon requires it as well. It costs $78. I filed it for a friend who needed it for Amazon Relay. It takes 5 minutes to do and you receive it immediately.
