We have 3 inside cats and one outside cat... I'll take all the outside cats that are smart enough to catch mice, remember that my house is home, amd not get killed by dogs, coyote, vehicles, or farm equipment... Also must be cold weather kitties.

@D.Tibbitt I found a interesting possibility. A buddy of mine works for a paving/excavation company and he said they would hire me on to learn how to haul equipment. They start you out with a dump truck hauling bobcats and smaller equipment so you learn how to load/secure them and as you prove that you can do it and get in and out of job sites without tearing anything up they move you up to a low boy hauling os loads (excavators). May have to look into that.

They are cold weather anything kitties.

Guess where they go int he night when it's cold enough. Straight to YOU, the gigantic heater snuggle human. Maybe on your face even, pour all over it.

Our last cat was pretty savvy. Gets into the hot spot and snuggles really deep. If one of us moved, the claws came out briefly. All he had to do was unsheath em. He likes his spot and we are not going to get to take it away from him. One time the wife flipped over because humans have to flip now and then sleeping. The #### thing started walking in place over her and settled in again.

We had heaters and a number of other devices like the radiator on my computer that was such a Z generator for it and so forth. But no. When it's frosty out and in he has to go to us. Claws and all. Settles in with a stretch that pours over everything and then loses consciousness purring to the rest of the world.

Even then hes wide awake tracking everything around the house. The squirrel at the windowsill, rabbit over in the corner and so on. Crazy. Any sound out of absolute normal BOOM Wide awake and ready for action. Even the tinest sound.

It would be enough to put him out and slam the door on it sometimes.

Then the cries start. Not meows, not howls none of that BS, just fine tuned special pitiful howling designed to make us open that door.

    Sheesh.
