So why the hell would they make a truck that wouldn't have a heavier axle. Iike I said earlier I would throw a couple of springs under the front end and get it reinspected so then they can change you weight and sticker also. I did it on a 10 ton dump truck before.

Who cares what your bobtail wieght is. You dont have to scale empty. Usually in the bypass lane.
Move your fifth wheel assembly on the frame back . Loaded should make you legal and that's all that really matters.
