And if duct tape cant fix it, then it really is broke! -
I just realized something. I do not have a rear view mirror to hang it on. Guess they can't put one in my truck. Darn.
Beyond that, if they did put one in and I, for some stupid reason, kept driving, every moment that I was not at the wheel would be naked time. -
Can't imagine why I would even need a rearview mirror in my big truck. Don't like the idea of a camera in my 'home'. I think it might be an invasion of privacy to require a camera in a place where you eat, sleep and indulge in 'other' activities. I'm sure this is only on when the truck is running, but my Qualcomm still turns on every time they 'ping' me, who's to say this can't work the same. Just saying, I don't plan on willingly putting one of these in my truck -- unless I can point it the other way to record the real problems on the road. Looks like a good place to hang my hat though.

Taxes on fat people? It really is under discussion. Camera in your refrigerator? Could be, if you are fat. The argument is fat people are responsible for high health care costs.
Me, I kind of like truckerdave1970's suggestion about hiring welfare recipients to ride "shotgun" to keep an eye on us unruly truckers. As long as they aren't ugly, fat or prone to passing gas. Opposite sex, of course.
Seriously, maybe we should be considering putting cameras in the offices of the nut-jobs that come up with ideas like this. Apparently they have too much spare time on their hands which, I'm certain, such cameras would reveal. Would we find they are diligently monitoring the security camera feed from the restrooms? -
The act of the doctor's/hospitals are willing to negotiate with the insurance companies your bill in almost half is crooked in any other part of the world. If they are willing to accept half, why not charge that in the first place. Price gouging comes to mind. -
Maybe if the mega-fleets would stop hiring rejects, a video monitor wouldn't be required.
I know they don't outright teach control-ism to our young public school indoctrinates but the whole issue of controlling others, an undeniably leftist attitude, is just running rampant in every sector of society with the technology explosion.
You guys who work for these rolling sweatshops; don't y'all have any pride?
Personally I think I'd rather be a hobo living under a bridge. -
