Driver's side door and dome light

    My dome lights no longer come on when I open the driver's door on my 2007 vnl daycab. They work when I open the passenger door and I can turn them each on by pressing then. I don't see a door jam switch anywhere so what inside the door that turns them on and off?

    I had the same problem, there is a switch on the latch that goes bad and Volvo don't sell it separately you have to buy the entire assembly. After weeks of searching online, I fixed my by getting a switch as close to the original as possible from China, I got a couple I sell you one for $20, I have a post on this on here.

    I have the parts to fix the interior door lights.
