Well if we are posting Lost & Found now...
Anyone on US30 between Columbia City, IN and Plymoth, IN keep and eye out for a few mins from my 14 hour clock... Time seems to have gotten away from me in the west bound construction zone, and I ran short.
What if it Snows?

You'd need to average that over a year. Maybe even two.
And DH is one of the most maligned things in trucking imo.
I mean if you can pocket several thousand dollars in a few days, but you have a 6 hour DH out. It's still more than worth it. Weight, terrain, weather, all factors.
There may be times when the shuttle load of 200 or 300 miles is there, but the timing is wrong to pick up the big load.
So you can DH the two or three hundred and make a couple thousand, or do the shuttle and take something for far less, netting you the same or less for the lesser paying load plus the shuttle, so your spreadsheet looks good.
But you made less money. You also made less cause you drug maybe 44K for the 250 miles, rather than using $75 in fuel driving over empty.InTooDeep, BryE, FlaSwampRat and 9 others Thank this. -
Sure... That would mean you get a little shy of 1 min... And I get a little over 2 mins... LolInTooDeep, FlaSwampRat, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this.
