Meadowlark Transport-Drivers Beware!

Jeff Criley of Meadow Lark is a liar. He called me twice a week until I finally signed up. We talked about grand kids and Harleys. When I asked him about the negative posts on this site he played it off, said you can't please everybody. Nothing he tells you will be accurate. He lied about the rate per mile, the total load rate and the big drop and hook lie. He is very slick about not answering questions in writing. In the future I will listen to what these posts say.

 

Jeff is no longer with meadowlark. He was our dispatcher there and we couldn’t have been more pleased with him. Not every dispatcher will get you home just because he’s giving you tickets to cardinals games and wants you to be home for it. Lol as far as meadowlark I was extremely pleasedwith this company but not so much quality leasing where we got our truck from anytime we had a problem with our truck meadowlark helped us to get it going and also helped us during a downtime in employment. UNTIL.... Jeff decided to leave meadowlark .... truck once again blew s turbo they left husband in Mississippi and also withheld last paycheck assuming since Jeff left so would we along with a few others. They never asked or cared to even ask if we were leaving with Jeff (all this happened within the same week they found out Jeff was leaving) we didn’t even know about Jeff leaving yet but meadowlark assumed since Jeff brought us over to them that we stayed with him. Well they were wrong we did leave not by choice but because the held his last paycheck. We are now with a different company and Not where Jeff went and very very pleased. So my opinion on meadowlark is they were a great company with great pay /miles/freight but without asking and assuming they will cut ties with you in a heartbeat. I worked for meadow lark and the 3B logistics out of Indianapolis treated me well was making 1700 to 2200 a week take home after my lease. I liked them so much I am going back to work for them. All my paychecks came from meadowlark out of Billings Mt. And the pay was always right. Matt done a good job at dispatching, and found profitable loads. Yes meadow lark is a brokerage , and the small sub companies do find loads from brokers , some come from meadowlark brokerage. As I said been driving truck 23 years , had my own truck for five years. Ran a lease truck for meadowlark . Now I'm buying a truck. Sorry you all had bad experiences , Matt treated me well.

Is This meadow lark transportation out of Billings Mt? I never hauled a load less than 1.75 a mile to me. But I worked for Matt out of Indy indiana

 

I work with them now have no complaints. Sorry to here all those horror stories. Maybe all cases are not the same. all I can say is lease purchase never worked the odds always in favor of the house. I always get my financing outside of any companies I've worked with.
