Nothing has changed since we were bought out. And we have been told nothing is going to change. So for right now yes I'd still highly recommend millis to anyone. Will things change in the future? Maybe but for now everythings just like it was 4yrs ago when i 1st started here but with better pay lol

From what I've heard Heartland was astonished with our less than 50% turnover rate and our csa scores they are wanting to learn from Millis how they've done it. True idk but thats what I've been told

But dispatch was going by the fact that 99% of the time its a drop n hook there. They didnt know it wouldnt be loaded. Also who knows you may have been the only driver in the area to pick the load up.

Thanks guys. Hearing that actually remedies my worries because I was hesitant. I’ll put in an app tomorrow-hope it’s a speedy process.

It'll be interesting to see if the Millis way of doing things will.scale to a company the size of Heartland. I'm actually surprised that the Millis way of doing things works with our 850 trucks...but it somehow does.

Are you an experienced driver coming in or you needing to go thru our schooling? If so where are you located?

Well in my opinion idk why it cant work with a company the size of Heartland, because to me "The Millis Way" is all about 1 thing.....RESPECT. We are treated with respect from dispatch, dispatch 99% of the respects our hometime requests, our time is respected as I cant tell you how many $5, $10 etc detention pays I've gotten that I didnt put in for, but was still compensated for it without fight. Read some of these other companies and its like pulling teeth to get detention pay. And lastly we are treated with respect by being given pretty much every driver amenity possible in our trucks to make our time on the road as easy and enjoyable as possible. DirecTV, SiriusXM, fridges, microwave, comfy ### leather seats in the new trucks, the ability to go 70mph and not be among the turtle race crowd.

All of that is to me what "The Millis Way" is about and again there is no reason a company that has 1 truck or 30,000 trucks can't do that 1 thing and make it work for them. Respect their drivers plain and simple.

Lack of respect by many of these co's is why they have a huge turnover rates...many people don't like being lied to and that's what many of these co's do and don't care..
