The Omnitracks article post is the one big thing. After Friday ALL trucking is in violation on paper logs.
Does that mean QC will pay the fines, penalties etc?
It will take time to get extension from FMCSA. -
If fmcsa was on their game they would be taking crash statistics and fatalities statistics during this week to see
The numbers go way down while everybody is on paper logsbryan21384, FlaSwampRat, mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Company sent a message stating that not only do we have to run paper logs but they also have to be scanned in at the end of our duty day!! Luckily,I’m on hometime so I don’t have to worry about it until I return to the truck Thursday night! LMMFAO
x1Heavy, FlaSwampRat, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
Either way, I wouldn’t want to go to California,Georgia,North Carolina or Maine right about now!LOLFlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
I've come to see what's being said here on this subject. My qualcrap is still malfunctioning. And my company's office is calling me a liar saying I read messages they sent because this trash of a system says I did that I couldn't possibly have read because I was driving at the time the qualcomm system on their end says I read them.
Is anyone's working yet?
It doesn't seem like FMCSA is in any hurry to place anyone in violation because of this but that's not to say 4 months from now they're going to wack everyone with it.
They're federal. So they're not going to be quick at anything. They'll need to have 9 meetings, then investigate and have 18 meetings during, about, and after the investigation then have 32 meetings until they make a decision then more meetings to beat off and futz around about all of that...
So if they do do anything it won't be until 2029.FlaSwampRat and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
x1Heavy and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
