    I just left the house this morning. I deadheaded down to Sumter and picked up a preloaded trailer going to Broken Bow, Nebraska for a Wednesday morning drop.

    Off this week for vacation hanging out in my old hometown of Hampton Roads VA. Bought a car to replace the one totalled in my wreck 4 weeks ago. Catching up with old workmates and friends and going to my high school band's 40 year reunion in Va. Beach. An eventful week to be sure.

    Left Cedar City, Utah at 0030 this morning to beat the L.A.BS and be at the customer in Redlands when the gate opened. Dropped and hooked and came 39 miles to Ontario to live load a trailer going to Garland, Texas. The appointment was for Monday, but I was going to be just shy of making it with my available hours, so they rescheduled for Tuesday. If it all works out I should be able to get close and squeeze in a reset.

    So, on my way to my high school band reunion, I get a load picking up in Sumter going to Broken Bow for Tuesday. Still made the reunion, a 2 hour dinner, then the wife and I hopped in the car, came home last night. This morning took off and then they closed I 95 south at I 20 in Florence which backed up traffic. Finally got to Sumter at 4pm (left at 0930). Two fuel stops and a burnt out headlamp and shut her down at 730pm after only 400 miles. Tired and dceonditioned and stuck in traffic. Tomorrow is another day.
