@D.Tibbitt I know you have said you wonder what a yard dog job is like....this is the early part of the shift. We all sit around and play on our phones lol.![]()
Once we get everything sorted there isn't much to do until the shift starts rolling.
What if it Snows?

I got a ticket in Pittston, PA...
Darn place..... cost me U$800.00 for driving on a restricted section of a street... less than 0.4 of a mile... there was no restriction going one way but it was restricted going the opposite way.. and I took the risk on my way back because I didn't know a better way and didn't want to obstruct the traffic behind me while I tried to figure it out....
Good thing is that 10 days earlier I had won U$900.00 from my company for becoming "Driver of the Year"..... and so I used that money to pay for the ticket.. and still got $100.00 left...

Crime is so high in Brasil that most buildings (residential and commercial) have bars on their doors... and most require visitors to register at front desk.. gotta show them your national id card so they can put you in their system and take your picture right there.. then, they give you an electronic card to be used to enter the lobby..
This is the lobby... the roulette is where one uses the card to get in and out....
This is the card they gave me. It showed my name when I touched the display on the roulette... and I dropped it in when I left... Next time I go to that building, I will give them my name and they will have it in their system... But if you think about privacy in Brasil... there's practically none... the information we give away wherever we go for "safety" can be used by anybody in any way....
Even with all the cameras and security system in place.... thieves manage to get into these buildings and do whatever they want because police takes forever to show up whenever they are called....

Went to a shopping mall today... and finally, found a lasagna with no meat... it was a 4 cheese lasagna... I ate it all...
After over 2 months eating well in Brasil, I start to feel my pants a little less loose... Finally... I start to gain some weight... a pound maybe...FlaSwampRat, Dave_in_AZ, Cattleman84 and 8 others Thank this.
