I'm not sure, just grabbed the pic from Truckpaper. One day I will have one just to have one. Ahhh, a trucker can dream.

I would have to go with a Pete on this. I do like the dash layouts of the newer petes. I would be a 389 or a 386.

KENWORTH W900L Been drivin' conventional KW's since the '70s, I've driven some others but they all pale by comparison in my opinion. Pete's are OK but they're too cramped for a big guy and they just don't seem to have the fit & finish that a KW has.

I had a '79 Pete 359 that I bought new in 1980 and it had "all those guages" and...Yes, They all worked! I have "all those guages" in my current W900L and they work too...Imagine that!

    Yeah, I agree

I have owned several Kenworth W900s, all of them were beautiful trucks, all done up with thousands of dollars worth of custom made stainless, they were always my favorite truck.

But now with fuel the price it is I would like to get something a lot more economical. Right now I have a 2008 Kenworth and an 04 Freightliner Classic, The kenworth gets terrible fuel mileage. It cost's me several hundred dollars more a week to run the Kenworth than it does to run the freightliner.

Back in the days when fuel was cheap and we were making money I would say Kenworth, but now I need something that will actually make me money.

my paersonal favorite would be either a 9200 or 9400 international. I like the way they drive, the way they look. black with lots of chrome please...

I have also drove a w900 (was nice, liked the way it drived) t600(okay, but not great) aeromax (would have been alot better with more power and a better shifting tranny) and an older white (truck was rough, but that old cat sure ran good) I have rode in a freightshaker, didn't seem bad, but dash layout could have been better.

never been in a pete though (moved a 387, but wasn't enough to count). but i would gladly take one out and run her through the gears.

i had an international 9400i with a cummins 465hp. company truck. this truck could pull but what a rough ride and no storage space. i just bought an 06 volvo 670 with a cummins 400hp. it has less power but is smoother and has more space

There ain't no feeling like Petermobiling......

The picture is of my favorite truck. Why is it my favorite? Because it is
    mine!

And there ain't no view better then a big ol' hood in front of you.... I must say so myself.... That view is better then a cabover, or one of those company conventional trucks....
