Going to be another 70-75 degree day here in Dallas. Hopefully I get a reload soon and can get down the road.

What's really confusing me is the number of trucks that seem to be parked here long term. Every single truck in the picture, plus another 3 or 4 on the either end and the same on my side of the row hasn't moved since I got here. There's bobtails everywhere in full spots and I wonder if locals use this as truck parking to go home for resets.

And as I type this, one actually pulled out of its spot! :O

 

We have had a abundance of polecats running around our town for a while now. The mayor had live traps brought in if folks wanted to place them on their property. Went to council meeting last night, Mayor said so far 21 polecats have been caught and relocated. That does not include polecats that hold political positions in our area......

 

Working with the RR and EZ I learned a few things about the RR. Main thing.... they will not spend $$ millions unless they know something good is coming in the future. They spent over a 1/4 million dressing this lot up and putting down all new gravel. Now it is being stocked with all new steel, mostly BIG I-beams of about 24” to 36” looks like around 53’+ long. Keep in mind this is their main Bridge dept, so there will be some big material here. Must be a lot of bridge repair or new bridge construction coming this year.....

 

Since coffee's the morning topic:

 

The red cup gets cool enough to drink after about 30 minutes. The other one, a yeti, takes almost 2 hours to get cool enough to drink.

 

Did they catch 4mer yet ?
