Actually.....no. He has a really nice Jostler. I've driven it. Fun fun fun...
That load was a special Organic flour. It came from another mill across town. He brought it from there to this mill for me to pick up.
Can you believe he still works there? I don't....
He was going to college. One day he would be probably supervising people. A complete idiot in management.
What if it Snows?

The very height of my accomplishments in backing was at CocaCola in Philly. on Erie (Blvd?).
That place is so old. Very tight. Back to the door. End up with one inch between your open doors and the next trailers open doors on both sides.
The Jostler was good there. Had to work it harder than most. He was good. I'd watch him with appreciation.Cattleman84, Rocks, thelushlarry and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's pretty much all of philly lol. I did p&d there for years.RidgeRunner731, Cattleman84, Rocks and 3 others Thank this.

To be honest. I didn't like driving Philly.
Tell me.... Did I have bad luck or???
I found a (yes a few) few people who were just plain Contentious drivers. Not just aggressive, but contentious.thelushlarry and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
All the local and yard work I did for dude here in town used a '06 Century with a 72" sleeper and a 13 speed.Cattleman84, D.Tibbitt, Tx Countryboy and 3 others Thank this.

It's the hostile city, I can see why nobody wants to go there. It doesn't bother me because that's where I got my start driving so it's what I'm used to but it's a mess. The people suck, the roads suck, the weather sucks, the taxes really suck (4% wage tax on top of federal, state, and local taxes) I make $10/hr less now that I'm back in Florida and my take-home pay is about the same lol. That coke you went to up in Fishtown is awful lol. That area is horrible, it's going thru gentrification so it's gotten safer over the years but still a lock your doors neighborhood.

Like a ####ing boss! I would probably curl up in the sleeper and cry if I had to do that...I'm a vag.....I can admit it lol.x1Heavy, thelushlarry, dosgatos and 1 other person Thank this.

I admit... My Grandfather's brother was the Mob Boss in Philadelphia.
My Grandfather lived a humble life. Worked a humble job. He absolutely hated the Mafia. He came to this country form Sicily when he was 14. His favorite TV show was Elliot Ness. He called it "The Italian Hour". ... I overheard my Mother talking to relatives about visiting his brother one time in Philly. First... He would have all his goons go "take a walk" when my Grandfather showed up. He lived in a townhouse. One address. But when you went inside. Was like in Hello Dolly where the place took up many townhouses.dwells40, thelushlarry and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
