True. Only 2 decades behind on thier software lulz.

 

All the messages to keep doing paper logs, but my QC is working just fine.
I've made sure it is tracking me correctly, and the GPS shows the same thing my RM does when driving. I'm not really sure where Omnitracs is still having problems, but it does not seem to affect my unit very much.
I'm still not getting a fuel route so I won't be getting load info into the navi, not that I care all that often anyway.
All my macros are working now, so I have no more 'bad location' return messages when I do mac 1 or 5.

 

Plot twist fellas.

Phoenix AZ. CMC cut thier fleet, I voluntarily left. Already switched too one of the new Blue KW midroofs. Compared to that coffin sleeper, this thing is a palace. Its full length sleeper (something even the Freightliner Condos arent in flatbed.)

Still gotta get a prepass in the morning, an extra steel tarp. Maybe an odd or end here or there. Getting my mentor status back.

And right now thanks too the Omni tracks glitch, i cant even log into this thing yet.

At gemstop truck plaza just west of marking id on us95.
Ended up tcallin g that one load too g to Rancho Cucamonga due to no appt.
Grabbed a load out of the fontana terminal and delivered it to sante fe springs so I can get an mt.
Got a load out of fontana that's gling to Hermiston or.
Suppose to deliver today but not enough hours. Sent a Mac 22 when I picked it up for tomorrow delivery.
Had only 4.25 hrs on 70 today so I drove here from winnamucca nv.

 

So, Omnitracs all fixed now. I took a 30 minute break at my delivery this morning to do it since it can take 20 minutes.

But I'm still not getting a fuel route, and the trip stops still do not come up in the Navigation. The dispatch hasn't been updated in the Navi for several days.

All the delays this morning made it so I could not do my next load. There just wasn't enough extra time, especially to find an mt in the Chicago area.
They ended up taking off that load and sending me another.

Costco in Morris to Rochester, MN at 1700 tomorrow.
Near to home, but not there yet. I doubt they will let me deadhead to Inver Grove to drop off the mt, so I'll have to wait for another load on Friday to get me up there.

I just spoke to my sister. She took a trip to Chicago and rented a car. They are charging her for something, probably to everyone, that she did not use, and are committing fraud in the process.
It is one of the larger rental companies and it could put them out of business, if she decides to get a lawyer.

 

Got most of the equipment i need for OTR. Ran up to flagstaff with a micro sized load of verco. Like 1000lbs maybe, 8 foot long, 4inches thick worth of sheeting. Didn't take a pic, it was a hot load, threw the straps and got up 10minutes before deadline. Dead head back to phoenix. We will see what happens in the morning.

Got logged into the truck. But it didnt record my drivetime at all. So, paper logs, yay.

 

It's probably that QC/Omnitracs issue that happened a few days ago.

There is a procedure and number to call Omnitracs tech support to reset the QC, just to make sure it is up to date with the new fixes.

Log off-duty.
Go to page two on the QC screen and go to System
Write down the Unit Address.
Call 800-541-7490.
Chose option 1, then option 1 again.
Enter the Unit Address number.

It will update your QC unit, and it may take about 20 minutes.
You will see it shut down and restart, then it should be OK.
