This truck has low 700k miles on it right now and i dont know the history cause the idiot dealership that sold my boss the truck apperantly painted over the id plate cause i cant find it. In the mechanic section someone said the compression ratio was 17:1 and would be fine but the c15 is the one to worry bout. Are they wrong? At this point im just confused because if it will cause damage to an engine why would you first do it and second offer it for customers? If the motor cracks a head or whatever then i would think people would come back to them for blame. Im gonna try and ask them what all they do and if they need to lower compression to see what answers they have

From my understanding, people do this to accert engines all the time, they convert them to single turbo, disable the ivas and reprogramm the ecm.
    Must be done all together.

Why would anyone want to single out an Acert? With the proper setup, the twins will outperform a single every day of the week.

Put a BullyDog on it or any other good tune and you’ll love that engine. Sure miss mine.

Most of the time I don’t think it’s the actuators that are bad, the wire harness is known for oil to enter into the wiring and throw codes. Cheap enough to just replace every time an overhead is done.

To go back to the simplicity and expense of a single turbo.
No way would I run twins on a working non acert engine, just no need for them.

IVA's are sold in pairs for around $275. The part number is 10R7302, same actuator for all the acert's. I replaced all 6 of mine for under $900. All you need to do is pop the valve cover and they are right there. I did have to buy a special torx+ bit, that was $1.39. Took me an hour.

I've had IVA flahscodes 92, 93 and 94 ever since I got my 07 KW T800 ACERT C-13 back from having the head replaced.
I believe after blowing the 2 inch hose that comes strait off the water pump hauling asphalt one Saturday, the head cracked and it got worse and worse loosing and burning more and more coolant. It got too hot before I could get it off the road to a safe place to work on it.

This truck has never had a check engine light for IVA before the head was replaced at anytime since we got it new.

Can you do that online or have to call a dealer?

I'd like to delete the IVA's on my dump truck but keep the twin Turbos. I don't need to buy any more than I have to.
From what I understand you back the IVA's all the way off and then the ECM is reprogrammed not to look for them.
I found a place that can do it online if I had the Nexiq connector but its crazy expensive.
The problem is will they be selling me a progressive delete that's gonna need updating a few times, I don't need that S*** man.
I'd rather just delete it than spend 1500 to 3000 dollars trying to fix it only to have issues resurface.
