You could always email your logs to yourself every day.

There is a procedure and number to call Omnitracs tech support to reset the QC, just to make sure it is up to date with the new fixes.

Log off-duty.
Go to page two on the QC screen and go to System
Write down the Unit Address.
Call 800-541-7490.
Chose option 1, then option 1 again.
Enter the Unit Address number.

It will update your QC unit, and it may take about 20 minutes.
You will see it shut down and restart, then it should be OK.

Be glad your not using Peoplenet or whatever disaster Roehl made the horrible choice to use. Qualcomm is a dream compared to those other systems.
