No you have to go to the license bureau and do it in person. And it costs you $2 to give them a copy . Proof they require and you have to pay. Insignificant amount but it's just the thought of it.

You actually have to pay to certify your med card in missery?
We supposedly can do it online here, but the only time I tried it did not work, so I had to physically walk in to the dmv, but have never been charged on that end. -
All I know is Every time I do it they charge me $2.

I am not doubting you, it seems like every state has their gimmics to get that extra buck off of truckers. lol
olddog_newtricks Thanks this. -
Never trust the examiner to forward it. You must take it to a DMV to have it stamped and put into your record. Arkansas allows me to email it in as well. Some states have that option, but in most places you must physically take it to the DMV.

No. Tier one, Tier two (Without med card, but allows either farm to coop restricted or hauling bodies in nuclear attack somewhere etc) charges nothing. Just your signature swearing out the document in Arkansas. Other states have Tier threes and fours which is a different kind of grandfathering if you are not able to hold a full Medical DOT card for Tier one interstate and intrastate commerce without restrictions.
I was Tier two for many years as our state grandfathered me. It would literally be a small fee, a round of written tests and a couple of other things before I get my CDL back. After I have held a permit Class A for 14 days minimum. (Thats even easier to get) because of one of our rules if you had held a CDL before in your lifetime. That way you don;t have to grind through everything from the beginning.
The problem is the DOT medical. Again Tier two takes care of that. One paragraph paper with a signature for you to swear it out under oath at the DMV and done. -
Receptionist at Dr. Office tried get me for $10 to send it in. I said DMV is 4 block away I will drive it. Lol
