Buy the speaker of choice and make it a project...Paint it with say plasti dipp, hydro dipp it or if you wanna get a lil more into the look and have it powder coat it,assumeing the heat needed to cure it will not melt the plastic..
Same thing with the radio's chassie covers....I have thought a bunch of times is to have covers made with a plexi glass type idea...See through like on many pc case these days..
A customized cb case is a fairly untouched mod that you just dont see..

Dang i got some brain waves tingleing now....hhhhmmmmmm

Don't be hatin', cowboy. That $30 in savings can buy more chicken lights. OTOH, if I can't get that 198 with a shiny, silver cord, I don't want it. After all, it is a Pete...

Or a chrome chain link steering wheel and some extra padded driving gloves. To go with the 5’ shifter

I used Herculiner on the rocker panels and fenders of one of my little trucks. Looked fantastic initially. Then the sun bleached out the blacky black and it became pretty dull after a year or so.

Just spoke to my DW and the 198 arrived today. Looking forward to checking it out this weekend when I get home. My little truck has a radio as well so I can give the SRA a good test run.

Thanks fellers for all of the help.

Mticknor...I find that mic seems to work good and bad..Most times i find they loose any base at all,to tinny in general....
On some radios they will sound great and same mic on a different radio will not sound so good..
I think(not sure)that 636 will sound better on a galaxy vs say a cobra or stryker...Couldnt say on any other brand..

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.
