Fun day delivering to ####ed up places in the LA area.

I’m now resting comfortably in my bunk. I had somethings to say and I’ve lost the energy.

    Have a good night all.

Rest easy. Today's over. Tomorrow is a new day.

The Sleeper is a good place to rest when you have managed to overcome a difficult workday.

I didnt consider the idea of traveling somewhere to take advantage of exchange rates against the Dollar among other cheaper pricing for teeth. They are good for quite a few years yet. But they do get constant work to try and keep them where they are for a while.

Trucking was a time I did not see any doctor at all unless the ER or Trauma is needed to fix the bust. Im one of those people who would do anything to stay out away from doctors. Even today I do so. Unless something needs fixing.

The United States has gotten to be a form of prison for anyone deep in medical stuff for a few years and the individual states continue to tighten it up even worse with CDC issuing notices to our ER doctors not to do what they have done for generations when someone shows up with a busted bone boo boo. The doctors here are constantly made to feel threatened by any moment enforcement action against them.

My personal doctor put up his clinic, lands for sale last week. All of that plus the people will go bye bye when it's sold and turned into something else. Including the doctor who has had quite enough of it. He's been reduced to someone sitting at the desk in front of a patient writing prescription versions of OTC medicines only and calling the ambulance for anything immediate that he is not allowed to treat. So.. hes effectively... neutered as a doctor. Everything has been taken from him to where Himself as Doctor and Patient in that room cannot make good decisions on anything for what is supposed to be good for the patient.

Thats sort of like being a trucker but actually walking a robot 18 wheeler from the gate to dock and back to curb when loaded. A jockey with no earning or advancement in life. Dead end. A shadow of what we were once generations ago. I like being a proper yard jockey. But thats one thing I wont do. Not serving robots in my lifetime.

Unfortunately I don't think there is a choice in this matter.

Ive gone on a semi rant with this post but when one considers what we have become inside the USA its necessary to consider new ideas like medical tourism or even relocating to use the American dollar against the local exchange to effectively increase your income 4 to 5 times what it is now. Thats another thought.

Hey Dave, you might want to talk with the management team. it seems like OM may be trying to kill the Otterguy. Working him so hard, he can’t even remember what he was going to type.

So I had never seen a trailer dropped until today. It's impressive how far the air lines and pig tails for the lights can stretch lol.

That happens on occasion. Many times it's a daycabber tired from a hell of a long day, drops trailer, pulls straight away out without unhooking.

    WHAP!

Sometimes a shatter of his back window.

Trailer goes THUMP about a foot down onto it's unwound landing gear. (Into the mud, for those companies too tight fisted to be bothered to pour a 5 foot wide 4 feet deep yard long landing gear strip in concrete)
