    Caution If any body is considering a job with wenger truck line in davenport Ia beware there equipment is total junk they do not maintain anything there pay is 20 years behind the times and there insurance is a joke.I went to wenger on a lie they told me on the phone that there trucks were first rate got there on monday the 20th of july started oriontation they dont tell you half of what you need to do there paper work and then when you get it wrong they dont pay you.There detention time pay is bogas they will find some excuse not to give it to you{they owe me around $1200 just for detention there equipment is old the truck they put me in had over 1 million miles on it and had not been serviced in 60000 miles no air con. the power steering was failing the brakes were shot when i told them about the problem they blew it off like it was no big deal it all ended up i went home and refused to drive that peice of crap any further till they fixed all they did was fire me charged me with truck abandoment and took my last check I think all drivers need to get together and put trucking companies like this one out of business also i would like to see this D.A.C. services go away it is too easy for trucking compainies to black ball the driver and it needs to stop if anyone reads this and feels the same way i do or has had a similar problem please contact me my email is [REMOVED]

    wow....when i first saw this thread i thought it said wegner's....so i was like ok...when did i start hiring drivers?

    i never would have thought this about this company....all the drivers i have talked to seemed ok with the company......

    that is so true about wenger,they did that to my husband gave him a crappy truck and then MESSED UP his DAC WHEN HE QUIT

    If a company cares about DAC then you should not be working for them. There are thousands of small companies that do not even check that because they know it is all lies and means nothing.

    yep the hubz drove for them from dec to april and we lost everything . they lied from day 1 . his truck was ok ran good . wasnt all torn up .
    i think the dac should go away . it does no good for a driver at all .

    I was just going over my employment record and, yes; wenger is part of the brude. What a joke, this no laughing matter when it comes to trashing another drivers work, life and means of paying his bills. This company is ran by greed and the complete lack of safty for all people on the roads and the truck driver. With today's lack of work or the opportunity to work in the Davenport,IA area, its hard to pass up a paycheck. Don't forget the people that work on those death-traps. You get what you pay for, they must be getting payed minimum wage or less because they work like that. It they get shut down by the DOT, they have enough money to just another name, new phone number and new incorporation. What a traggedy what this country has had to put up with.

    ..... I agree with this old post, I can't believe how disgraceful this industry has become and there seems to be no one to step up to the plate on this.
    ... Drivers will not stand together on these kinds of issues for some unknown reason even
    While they know it will only continue to get worse & worse
