In Grand Forks, made it here with 6 minutes to spare on my 8 hour window for my dirty thirty. An ungoverened truck is such a blessing.

Load hasn't cleared customs yet, boss and office have been dealing with it for hours already. They are having me drop the trailer in Pembina, bobtail home, then go back for it when it's finally cleared (which might be tomorrow, but likely Tuesday). Guess it's not getting to Edmonton on Tuesday, lol.

At New Hope I wouldn't have even gone through Pembina, so I would likely be sitting till Tuesday in Minot waiting for the broker to open again.

 

bumping docks sucks and rates are horrible right now..

 

Are they 3 days in a row? Or like Monday, Wednesday, Friday thing?

might be hard to truck either way but might work out well with your wrenching and rebuilding skills?

Guy I rent my shop from sold his 3 day a week dry cleaning route. Got a local Monday through Friday gig at $23 an hour with time and a half over 8 or 40. Full health benefits and a 401 %50 match.

Good Jobs are out there. OTR trucking is not it’s all cracked up to be.

 

3 days in a row. And I can move them around if needed.

Ive taken the exam a few times in my life. No one ever cared that I floated but all of them asked me to demonstrate one time that I COULD double clutch. I never really did but I’d just touch the clutch and that was good enough for them.
Took a guy to his test a few months ago. The examiner was like a kardashadin. On her cell phone texting the whole time he said. Long nails, big blond hair and open toed shoes.
I’m sure you will turn out better drivers than her.

 

In our neck of the woods if you don't rent the truck the test sorta doesn't happen if ya catch what I'm laying down

 

Rant sort of..Looking on dat earlier. On the offers to far left some idiots offering 1150 on 900 miles wtf sometimes i think its the brokers that throw up those cheap rates hoping some fool will move it.

@Rugerfan got any frito lay's near you. Fill out PepsiCo carrier pack. Its their busy season and we've pulled a ton of em. Plant to dc and bring back bails of cardboard to plant.

Were at 2.83 loaded miles and 2.26 on all miles pulling mainly out of 3 places. I know your on the wrong coast but just some #s to go off of
