Wow. 2nd floor is a understatement, I would call that attic because it took off the low part of the roof, I'll round up. I'm surprised they were able to get a boxter to launch like that.

Porsche Boxsters of that vintage (a 2010 model) are relatively cheap to acquire nowadays (it was entry level to begin with) so it doesn’t surprise me that kids are getting their hands on them. Cheap speed.

I guess speed is subjective lol. Those things are turds. I've picked a few up at the auction to resell because people want something that says Porsche on it. I can usually find them there for like $3500, they retain no value. Sell for 6-7k all day long.

In the old time Shenandoah Mountain Home Cabin, there is usually a set of stairs curving around the corner leading upwards to what would generously be called a sleeping loft where the chimney heat gathers in the winter or more air is moving through to cool off in the summer. (Kinda sorta)

Do you know what they used to call that set of stairs?

"Stairway to Heaven" if you have a frisky spouse and can keep warm without a fire all night.

Now this behavior as described in the article with what I recall as a more crappy car of that family (Not really deserves to be... *Hunts for words... respected....) combined with such lack of understanding of anticipating problems in driving, no wonder Darwin sorted them out of our society. I hate to say it, but if you are going to run strong and fast, then at least do it with a car you know will do that well.

That kind of a bounce for a car gives me the shivers. It's possible in my thinking to get that much airbourne for that far would require about 165 mph give or take 5. I have been airbourne before in a fast car. Fortunately I did not stay in the air long enough for it to be a REAL problem. And there were plenty of spots where if you allowed your car to get "Light" on it's suspension you already have compromised the traction you must have before the upcoming curve approaching awful #### fast. I usually leaned towards conservative loading up the shocks by going into curve slow and adding power until the rear wheels start chirping just a little bit before breaking loose. Once I hear Mr Chirps I know I can wait until the last half of the curve before slamming the hammer down and abuse the top end getting out of there properly.

If I wanted to indulge in go fast, there is a raceway in Vegas which I think rents a small selection of cars and provides a level of support for that kind of driving. that is definately one bucket list item I would like to indulge in. Either one of three cars. A Viper manual, Diablo V12 or a Koingsegg (Any will do, Im not particular)

this. they’re just cheap, ain’t no speed about em. this duo would’ve probably cleared the house in something like a corsica or beretta.
