Don't remember if you mentioned it before... Do you train wearing a heart rate monitor(for the cardio)?

And, just a thought... working a heavy bag for me, and everyone I knew, wasn't cardio. Working a heavy bag is anaerobic, and doing it, you're not recovering. Might be possible to work a heavy bag aerobically, but I don't believe I have ever seen it.

Never worn a heart rate monitor. Is there a benefit to it? I'm not exactly new to running (got 2 half marthons under my belt) but if monitoring my heart rate could give me an advantage I'd be all for it.

Never knew hitting the heavy bag was anaerobic. I figured it got my heart rate up, got me sweating and out of breath so just assumed it was cardio.

And I wear a poppy with a Canadian flag pin in the center year-round to honor our serving armed forces overseas and those at home. 20191111_193446_HDR.jpg
