Good job Mr..... glad for you... I know what you are saying about "Get the H! away from me!"...

I do the same thing.... keep watching them on my flat mirrors... and sooo many times I caught them coming too close to the truck and trailer because they were distracted with something in the car... that's when I open my window (if it's not already open), put my hand outside and look really angry at them and tell them to move the H away from me! And they always do...

 

Good grief... I hope that means... some good detention time....

 

Today was a super soggy wet cold day in the city of Rio...
I knew it was going to rain in Rio but didn't imagine it would be so much... So, I brought only my nylon coat and no umbrella cause I am already carrying my laptop in my bag and a few other things and I would be walking a lot...
So... it rained buckets of cats and dogs all day long in the city.. I got totally soaked.. even my panties, and my socks and everything else.. it was pouring, windy, and cold. 20 celcius..

I got wet ALL DAY LONG.... dripping kinda wet.... and had to sit in a cold room for almost one hr.. waiting to speak with an attendant in a government office... all my clothes wet... I was shivering.... with cold...
And the humidity...

 

Hope you don't get sick from it.

 

And I brought my laptop for nothing.. thought was going to need it to check some DVDs I ordered.. but the shop had a laptop... and I didn't need mine...
Then, I went to 3 places tying to find a phone booth for international calls... the third one had a booth.. tried to call the place in USA 3 times, couldn't talk to anyone and spent almost U$4.00 for that...
No time for lunch... just walking around with my heavy bag under intense rain and strong wind...
Finally, thought I was going to find a room in a hotel...
Went to three hotels nearby and none had vacancy...
So... I ended up here....


Well... but for U$22.00.. what should I expect...?

This room is just a little bigger than the cab of "my" truck...

I know I have been at even smaller hotel rooms...


That's the shower and bathroom all in the same place...



At least I took all my clothes off and hang them to dry some... but it has been so humid..

I haven't got sick so far.. and I hope there are no bed bugs on this bed...

 

Then.. this evening, I had to put on my damp clothes again to go out and have my lunch... or dinner at 7 pm local time and took two buses to go to Rio International airport..
And when I got there.... the airline company was having some "problem" with a flight that was cancelled and I had to wait for 1:30hr just to get some information about my trip....
Ohhhh what a day...
By the time I was ready to leave the airport and come back to the hotel, there were no more buses... ohhhh.... "great"....
