The rental car company has a shortage of cars. So I had to settle for a Dodge Challenger. Oh the suffering! :laughing-guffaw:

Well my day is done. Only 800 more miles to go until im a free man LOL so far it has gone well. Have gotton front row parking last night and now tonight as well. Rained for first 3 hours of drive but wasnt quite cold enough to ice over so its been nice trip so far...i am looking at some of the trucks in the lot and they have reminats of road salt plastered all over the trailers so im guessing it could be a look into my immediate future . goodnight !!

You may be 100% ignorant if:

You never consider alternative views that don’t fit your diminutive worldview

    OR

:You can’t have rational conversations with people you disagree with.

You may be from the South or an educated kind person if:

    you say bless your heart

i will say that the worst part for me about winter is not driving on the streets, its the lazy farmers (some of them) that refuse to properly clean out their driveways. they know what time the milkman will be there to pickup the milk, yet they dont do it. with all of the tractors they own they shouldnt have any excuses.

even the farmers that DO clean out the driveway properly NONE of them use salt, probably partially for the expense of it and i imagine the run-off would not be good for the crops, either way its not something that an OTR driver has experienced or can relate to.

farm driveways are not always easy to deal with in the winter.
