Chances are they hired someone else while he was gone, and didn't really need him as bad.
Their insurance may have had to be updated at that time too.

That will do it.
You are unhireable for a while.
What you could do is forget the 8000, it's gone. Poof. Imaginary money you will never get. Forget the 1000. What you wants your suspension taken off when the original warrant ticket etc is taken care of. Then you are free to sign on with any number of smaller employers who really don't care how many people you shot, shoveled and buried over the years in violation terms or how bad. Work for them a while Say 5 years or 10 years if necessary. Your old record will go away by Law and you if you managed to be clean can now join anyone you like. And keep the mouth shut about the bed time problem.
The other problem is now you have had one suspension of your CDL. If you are going to get Suspended again make it a REALLY big one. They probably will revoke. And that's it, you would run the risk of not being able to drive even a little car. Mopeds maybe... (That class of vehicle has not be offered for sale since the late 70's when that market fizzled out.) -
And no one up there in the oilfields will hire you?
FlaSwampRat Thanks this.
