Seems like it would be a little handier than an RGN for small to medium size equipment on local/regional runs

Except when it snows. Those decks get slick and are at a fair angle when loading/unloading.

Maybe, depends on you’re business model. To me a step deck with built in ramps would be as handy for running the spot market. That Landoll is heavy!
