you are suppose to make more and work less. i dont drive but maybe like 1900 or 2100 miles a week if that. i have finished up my week sometimes with 1800 or less.

when i was otr and had to work hard to make money. i ran 700 plus mile days. now im lazy and my pocks stay stuffed and i want to enjoy some stuff on the road.starmac Thanks this.

In a perfect world you are right that's how it should be. But for me it's not. I've always had to grind. My last job was the easiest 7am-3:30 $25 per hour hardly any miles but a lot of physical labor.truckdriver31 Thanks this.

Half my miles are on dirt, so 6 or 700 miles are a long day, on the days I do 700, I will go ahead and do 750, because there is actually a place I can wake up and have breakfast or at least coffee. lol

find a job that pays your right. i was the same way until i got the job i have now. didnt know i could make so much money as a company driver. plus 7 weeks off a year vacation and full benefits.Outlaw86 Thanks this.
