    I had a new clutch and tranny put in this spring and now the clutch pulses when you step down on it, and you have to put two feet up against the dash to get it out of gear. Guy said don't worry about it, it'll come out of it.

    50k miles later it's only marginally better..... Time to start worrying?

    He's either on meds or off meds. Not sure with that uncontrollable drabble.

    Chances are, it will never get better. Did they replace input shaft?

    Missed the new trans part. So input should be ok. Did they replace fork bushings in clutch housing?

    @singlescrewshaker
    I have seen quite a few of the old style adjusters come apart, I’m actually kinda surprised there’s any of them left since the new style came out 20 years ago.

    I have seen many cams and rockers do just like yours have done and changed quite a few of them. I’ve never had a problem with valve heights like @pushbroom was talking about with the ISX.

    If it was my truck with my money I would replace the cam with new if at all possible, change any rockers that weren’t perfect and put all new style adjusters in it.

    Disclaimer: I haven’t done the work you’re needing since 2002 when I last worked for a Freightliner dealer so most of what I was doing was warranty work. I have been driving since 2005 and bought my truck in 2012.
