What if it Snows?

No... no earthquakes.. no volcanoes, no hurricanes or tornadoes... no tsunamis... just yet... none of that... yet... that's why people say that "Brasil is a country blessed by God.." there's a very famous old song that says that....
Yeah.. the problem is that Brazilians don't take care of the nature, the environment, the constructions, or anything... the old buildings were strong enough to survive till now... but with poor or no maintenance at all, they are decaying... eroding.. and eventually will collapse..
As it has been happening all over the country... they show on TV buildings collapsing because of lack of maintenance.... it's pretty sad and a SHAME...
And nowadays, they construct stuff that doesn't last long and/or collapses before it's finished.... Buildings, bridges...

No only that... I missed taking a picture of the flooding on the street when I was there and it rained a lot all day long... vehicles had to avoid some streets because of the high water.. on other cities in other states where the rain was very intense, there were vehicles abandoned on the street... they showed on TV... it happens everywhere... Because the sewage system, and the drainage system are obstructed, clogged up... very poor and no maintenance is causing flooding every time it rains in the cities... it happens from northeast to southeast... all big old cities....

By the way... looks like froggy is drinking some "chimarrão" up in Florida and watering plants in Cabo Frio...?
That's the "chimarrão" typical from the South in Brasil....

 

There are very mild tremors but don't reach cities like Rio.. not that we know.... but who knows....? They don't monitor those like they do in America.. Because.... like the song says..."Brasil is a country blessed by God.."

 

If I planned on staying in Brasil, I could fix my old house and rent part of it and would still have the "Caretaker's House/Cabin" and another space for myself.. as that house has 3 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, lots of bedrooms, etc, etc.... House is not sold yet... if I don't do anything with it, it may fall to the ground... it needs constant maintenance because of the salty air and constant strong wind....

 

Hey.. I better get going... some things to do out there.. and it's going to be National holiday tomorrow... and lots of other celebrations in this city today till this coming weekend as it's this city's Anniversary... 440 years.... catch up with y'all later...
