Why are these illegal to use and what is the range on them from what I have looked up it states they have to an 8000 mile range I find that hard to believe anywho anyone with information please respond it is also for sale

They are illegal to use with a CB Radio because the FCC limits how much power you can "legally" run on 11 Meter...That said, technically ALL amplifiers are illegal to use with a CB Radio, not just Pride 100A's...
As for the 8000 mile range deal...It's roughly 8595 miles from the tip of the North Pole to the tip of the South pole...Now do you really think that little box is going to broadcast your signal anywhere close to that far?Last edited: Nov 13, 2019
