Team driving is more pay usually.
-
I think that would depend on both of the jobs.
Myself I think I can do well enough solo. I have run teem a little, but long term, no way. -
There are good choices though, even just for starting out. Maybe you can land a decent dedicated deal or something.
It sucks at first sleeping in a moving truck. But you get paid for miles driven while you are "sleeping" so maybe its worth.
I wouldnt want to repeat last week, but I got 3k out of it. Like 3k miles, 12 stops, 2 drops, training pay, and an LTL at 1k extra miles.
Team driving isnt healthy. You are always on the run. Showers can be tricky for the night driver. Your partner might frustrate the hell out of you. Or you might get along great. If you dont already got a partner lined up its a bit of luck too.tscottme Thanks this. -
I can beat 3 grand a week as a company driver if I want to run a 6 day week, which I don't any more.
I know those types of jobs are not growing on trees though, but not hard to find here.
99.9% of my team driving was getting a friend or relative started, no way would I just team with just another driver.
there are no team runs here any way, and I have no plans to go back south, other than one more trip MAYBE. lolFlaSwampRat and TravR1 Thank this.
