My brake lights stay on when the main instrument cluster is on. If I open the door or have the truck on the brake lights will not go out. If the truck is off and I open the door the dashboard cluster will come on and so will the brake lights. If I push the button in the door jam and hold it, all the lights will go out after a few seconds.

Is it just like 2 of the diode’s in the led brake lights that come on and very dimly?? I think that’s standard as the 2013 and the 2018 I have now both do this.
spsauerland and pushbroom Thank this. -
Yeah its normal. Lights are not actually on, just dimly back lit.
Wheeljack, Roberts450 and spsauerland Thank this. -

Plot twist: the applied brake pressure gauge is reading 50psi with the brakes released. There is no air line that runs to the gauge. The brakes are not actually being applied. Lights are still stuck on.

Brake application sensor is probably stuck in range then. Located to the rh of the steering column accessed by the kick panel.
spsauerland and KittyKicker Thank this. -

Should be a 3 wire pressure transducer. There will be many down there all the same. Harness/connector should be labeled. Transducers will be the same so you can swap to test.
KittyKicker, pushbroom and spsauerland Thank this. -
Try turning your main power switch off for like 5 minutes.
Let the chassis controller reboot.KittyKicker Thanks this. -
