Talking about sticks and the paddle with holes in it.

This was like my dad's 70's version belt. My brother an I woke him from a long day of double shift at hospital. (Being East coast kid) we had a basement.
We were screwing around down in reckroom and making noise and he came down 3 steps at a time belt in hand. He chase my brother who was closer, I headed for stairs, I made 4 maybe 5 steps when I had one foot planted and the other raised to land on next step. He caught the back of my thigh of one leg and calf of the other. the sting was an attention getter for sure. If I lined up my legs just right. My brother said you could see the belt and each metal hole of the belts impression.

Ya...... Good ol' Days..... Of discipline

Tony’s home is decorated with vintage things like the peeler, cherry pitter, sausage grinders, rolling pins, and the such.

 

Lol, a lot like him too, laid back and country as cornbread.....

 

Think his arm between the shoulder and elbow was shattered in 6 places if memory serves....

 

That vintage peeler works much much better than any modern peeler for sure.....!
