I just ran across a word that got me to thinking. I don't know if I have been saying it wrong or if others say it the way I do. The word is jive. Like, what he is saying doesn't jive. I just saw it written as jibe. How do you guys say it? (Obviously, I ain't got sh.t to do.)

Is it jibe with or jive with?
Jive means either a type of music or loose, meaningless chatter. Jibe means to be in accord; agree. To confuse matters, jibe also means to shift your sail from one side of the vessel to the other (sometimes spelled gybe). And gibe, which means to make taunting, heckling remarks, can also be spelled jibe.

I guess I've been wrong calling people jive turkeys. Musical turkey or chattering turkey wasn't my intent.

Kinfolk always used the word “Jive” as feeling of doubt.

The word “behoove” is something we don’t hear much anymore either. While trying to give advice I used the word behoove to my boss years ago, coworker told me there was no such word. Yes actually there is I said, about a month later Roger (boss) told me I was correct..... during church service they read the word behoove in the Bible.

I run a quart for every fill up. Or a quart for every 100 gallons. Or 1/4 of a gallon to a fill up. (average 100 gallons in my case)

it’s all very unscientific. I started using more then backed down till I didn’t recognize the benefits. I originally priced it at $7.50 a fill up was the break even point compared to fuel economy increase

I can feel the difference at this 1quart rate. If I stop I can still feel the smooth idle for a few full ups but the fuel economy goes away immediately. You’ll think it be hard to see the fuel economy it it’s regular as clockwork. .2 to .3 better fuel economy ( hand calculated ) than what I would expect without it. I’ve kept track of my fuel economy for 4 years now so I feel like I got a bit of a grasp on the situation.
